Outdoor Curriculum Days

Kathy and other WW&W staff deliver pre-school and primary school learning sessions throughout Cornwall, including maths, storytelling, art, music and science.

Kathy has helped to deliver pre-school maths sessions over at Tehidy Woods and on the beach linked very closely to the pre-school maths curriculum.

Kathy delivered a variety of Forest School activities based around the book ‘The Stick Man’.

Year 4/5 Outdoor Maths Day looking at investigative skills and measurement.

Assisted with the delivery of Beach School topics in 2017 and 2018.  

Home School Groups

Kathy can offer themed Forest and/or Beach School Sessions based on the Primary and/or Secondary Science and Maths curriculum.  Storytelling is another area that she is well-practiced at delivering in the outdoors.  Other WW&W staff have a more creative skills set to offer including art and music.

Tutoring

Kathy is an experienced tutor in GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths.  She can also offer Psychology and Biology A-level.

1-2-1 sessions

Kathy can offer 1-2-1 Forest and/or Beach School sessions for those who need more support.  She can also offer kayaking, canoeing, SUP, cycling and indoor wall climbing as other active options such as sea swimming and guided runs.
