Our Walkie Talkies Plus committee have been super busy and have lined up a really exciting programme of events for the rest of this year.

We’ve got my dad’s infamous quiz nights; the last one brought in over 50 quizzers and we had a LOT of fun playing the ‘heads and tails’ game to wine various bottles of booze. 
 
Our last Race Night was a hugely successful evening with loads of people joining us and betting their £1 coins on horses.  Who knew that a room full of people watching pre-recorded videos of horse races could be quite so exciting!!  We have new videos to share and are keen to go again.

We have a few special one off events to share too.  Saturday 27th June brings us our 3rd Beach Silent Disco on Portmellon Beach.  Get your Mevagissey Feast week off to a fabulous start with a barefoot dance in the sand as we watch the sun set to our favourite tunes.

And the is more dancing to be had at our 2nd Ceilidh planned for September 26th at the MAC.  We have The Rosevilles band playing for us again and we hope to see as many faces as possible at this one, as over 120 joined us for the last one in May 2025.

We also never get our act together in time to organise a Christmas Party, but this time we have got in their SUPER early.  We have booked the Jubilee Hall for 19th December so we can enjoy some live music (yet to be confirmed) and a DJ.  We will also be doing an ‘Auction of Wishes’ during the festivities too so you can stock up on last minute Christmas gifts for your friends and family. 
 
All of these events have been listed on spond already so you can get them in your diaries.  Most will be payable by either bacs or through the website an usual.
