Wild Wonder and Wisdom is a Community Interest Company (C.I.C) that seeks to empower young people through outdoor education. Kathy King, the founder of WW&W is an experienced teacher of 16 years and qualified outdoor education facilitator running Forest School sessions since 2007 and has recently qualified as an outdoor instructor meaning that WW&W is able to offer indoor wall climbing, cycling, kayaking and canoeing as part of our outdoor education provision. By the end of 2019 we also hope to be able to offer sea swimming and Stand-up Paddleboarding (SUP) too.
As with most businesses delivering outdoor activities, we are having to postpone a lot of our projects and retreats. This is a really tough time for everyone but never has staying connected with nature and each other been so vitally important.
We can’t wait to get back outdoors, on and in the water, and into the woods with you all when it is safe to do so, but in the mean time we are trying to find creative ways of bringing Wild Wonder and Wisdom products online so you can access them from the safety of your own homes and give you inspiration, and keep you company on your daily exercise walks.
We have created a dedicated ‘Online Services‘ page to share how we are evolving.
